Chef Amidullah has spent over 15 years perfecting the art of dum biryani — the patient layering of aged basmati, hand-pounded spices, and slow-sealed cooking that no shortcut can replicate.

From humble beginnings cooking for family gatherings in Mangadu, his reputation grew by word of mouth until ChiChi Biryani became a name Chennai families trust for their most important celebrations.

Today, backed by a committed team of 10, he personally oversees every contract — ensuring the biryani that leaves the kitchen is exactly the biryani that made his name.
